I made it :D

I just wanted to give a quick update and let everyone know I have made it to Kona safe and sound. The plane ride from Seattle to Kona was 6 hours long... and I tired to sleep but I never seem to be able to sleep on anything that moves:( I made it to the campus around 230 and got registered, had dinner, and am now just settling into my room. The room is pretty nice... there is 4 sets of bunkbeds, a pretty big kitchen, and a balcony with a view that can be seen in the picture above! (you can also see the ocean... i'll get a picture when its light out) The only challenge that I have found so far is that there is ALOT of people and it is really hard to remember all their names :S Anyways thats it for now, but i will update again soon:D

See you later!.... these last few days as I began to prepare to actually leave have been a little tough in saying goodbyes, but really its actually only see you later :D I am beginning to get pretty excited for the adventure that is ahead of me. It is definitely hard to say goodbye and leave behind what is easy and what I am used to, but this is exciting... I am moving on to the next step in my life. I am in the Seattle airport at the moment waiting for the flight off to Kona, and I have to say yesterday I was pretty emotional, but I did pretty good today saying goodbye to mom, dad, and beth (which I thought was gonna be a really emotional time, but I'm doing good). I think I am beginning to realize that God is completely with me and is leading me into a direction that he has always had planned. I have always prayed and asked for God to lead to where he wants to me to go, but I think when he actually said, ok here - go... it became a little more difficult.. I began thinking, ok really did you mean leave my family and friends?! but yes that is what he meant. I have to leave my comfort zone in order to fully trust in him and know that he is leading and controlling my life, not me. I am going to miss everyone sooo much! but thank goodness for skype, facebook, and email!:D I look forward to hearing back for each one of you! Love you all!
(I wanna come up with a cool remark/catch phrase for leaving at the end of blogs so I am gonna try some out :D)
